Caribbean Poker Codes and Pointers
Posted in Poker on 09/28/2015 08:21 pm by MarcusPoker has become world famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players receive five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the house. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a sum in accordance with the original bet. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the bank’s hand. The bank pays out money even with your initial bet and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
