Beginners Strategy for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in an awesome game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that players play against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make frenzied selections.

It is also simpler to gamble on for an extended time with only a tiny amount of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and a two card hand have to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
