Beginners Schemes for Pai Gow Poker

[ English ]

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in a great game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that players compete with other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about any other, more knowledgeable individuals winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make hasty choices.

It is also much simpler to play for an extended time with just a small bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the houses hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the croupier is dealt 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
